We will notify you when your piece is completed by email with photos. Once paid in full we can determine the method of delivery. Each piece we create is unique, therefore to have a generalized shipping cost is impossible. There are several methods to choose from.
Pick up
You are welcome to pick your project at our workshop. Just remember to bring shipping blankets to protect your piece.
Local Delivery
If you are within 100 miles we will deliver for free. We will schedule at a time that you have the help to take it from our truck into your home. Over 100 miles we will charge a small, but agreed amount with the same conditions as above.
Local Carrier or National Carrier
We will crate your piece and then get a final quote from the carrier. We can get an initial estimate at the weight we anticipate, to give you an idea of the potential cost with the understanding that it is only an estimate.
Being a unique custom piece we cannot accept refunds/returns. We will repair any damages that arrives from delivery.
The bench, a replicated version of the “Edo” bench by long time inspirational furniture designers and makers of Thos. Moser, is simplistic in form yet supremely Rugged in function. Playing off the subtly curved lines created from the negative space of the “edo’s” form, the additional coat rack accompanies the space left behind creating the Ying to its Yang. Both pieces have been meticulously hand crafted from an array of vibrant domestic New England hardwoods and exude their warmth and organic beauty through velvety smooth proffesional finishes. Bench; 48″ wide x 27″ tall x 20″ deep, Locally milled Curly Ambrosia Maple, Curly Black Cherry, Curly Black Walnut. Finishes; Waterlox / Polycrylic / Black Bison Wax. Coat Rack; 50.75″ wide x 7.5″ tall x 6″ deep. Set features; geometric wood inlays on bench seat, through wedged tenons for extra ruggedness, pegged internal interlocking fab., brass pegs, hand turned walnut coat peg, french cleat wall mount system with brass insert hole mounts, and lots of glistening, shimmering curly grain throughout both pieces.
